Urban Legacy
Build your real city into an empire — powered by your ZIP code.
Urban Legacy turns financial literacy and entrepreneurship education into the most addictive game on a kid's phone — by making their own hometown the game board. Three interconnected layers of gameplay grow with the player from middle school through adulthood, teaching real business operations through play.
One city. Three stages of mastery.
Middle School Mode
Grades 6–8
The Foundation Layer.
Players enter their ZIP code to generate a digital replica of their real city. Start with a lemonade stand or food cart, learn revenue vs. expense, and place your first storefront tile on a real city map.
- ZIP-to-map city generation
- QuickBooks Jr. ledger
- XP/coin economy
- Vocabulary woven into gameplay
High School Mode
Grades 9–12
The Growth Layer.
Choose your path: work inside a business (College/Career Track) or launch your own (Entrepreneurship Track). Real mechanics — permits, insurance, commercial leases, payroll — are the gameplay, not the homework.
- Biweekly business sprint reviews
- Permit engine + insurance flows
- AI NPC attorney & accountant advisors (Claude API)
- Commercial lease clause mini-game
City Empire Mode
Adult
The Empire Layer.
A full Farmville-style city simulation on your real city map. Manage a portfolio of restaurants, car dealerships, cinemas, airports, banks. Build real estate. Take on debt. Compete against AI-driven businesses that respond to your moves.
- Full city builder on OpenStreetMap data
- Real estate development + rent collection
- Banking system: loans, interest, credit score
- LLC → S-Corp → C-Corp progression
